Auchenflower, Brisbane (0-5km)

Auchenflower (or-ken-flower) is an inner city suburb of Brisbane that not even locals know that well. It doesn't have a large cafe strip which helps explain its low claim to fame. But in recent years, this suburb has seen a huge explosion in high rise apartment buildings, which have proven very popular with younger professionals and people who don't have kids. This is a very convenient suburb close to the city, Paddington and Toowong. (More info below and to your left <<<)
