Bardon
Bardon
A quiet suburb with plenty of Queenslanders

Bardon, Brisbane (6-10km, west)

Bardon is the sort of place that would suit anyone who likes living close to the city, has a healthy bank balance, and appreciates peace and quiet. So, if you want to doof doof party, go find some place else. This suburb has a bit of a country town feel. It is quiet, hilly and family friendly. It's in a great location - close to Mt Coot-tha, bush walks, and the cafes and shops of Paddington. Bardon is home to Government House and to people who aren't exactly poor. The architecture in Bardon is mostly Queenslanders and smaller timber homes. There are some apartments here but not a huge amount. The streets are generally wider, leafy, and nice. There is a small local shopping centre on Macgregor Tce, but for more variety Paddington is just down the road. (More info below and to your left <<<)
