The Hawksburn Village is small and appealing, and the local council has worked hard to give it have a villagey feel.
Architecture in the surrounding streets is mostly Victorian cottages and many of the builidings are small. A lot have been renovated. Others are waiting their turn.
Most of the streets are tree-lined.
