Shopping in Bondi Junction

Bondi Junction, Sydney (east)

If convenience had another name, it would be Bondi Junction. This place is the retail, commercial, medical and transport hub of the eastern suburbs and everything is within walking distance. Which explains why people like living here. There is no shortage of apartments in Bondi Junction. But what it does lack is a community feel. There are quite a few high-rise apartment towers here to cater for the ever expanding population. It's not a cheap place to live, but if you like socialising and living close to the city, and you are single or a young-ish couple, this is not a bad option.

Bondi Junction has a massive shopping complex with every shop imaginable. The shopping centre bulges at the seams on weekends and can test anyone’s credit limit and patience for finding a parking spot. Shopping in some of the smaller shops on local streets can be more enjoyable. Bondi Junction is a short bus ride or drive away from Bondi Beach, Paddington and the city. It's also near UNSW, the University of New South Wales (a 20minute bus trip), and it's a 12minute train ride to the UTS. (More information below and to your left <<<)
