Thanks for the local info. I think I will settle for Balmain Lodge. Place looks good and the cafes and restaurants around it are a bonus.

Hey, no worries. You'll enjoy the area. You can walk to the old psyche hospital parklands from Balmain Lodge and do a bay walk that goes across the Iron Cove Bridge, past the Drummoyne Rowers Club and all the way around back to Rozelle.
Or just walk straight to the Iron Cove Bridge and follow the signs and/or other people out exercising.

Just stick to the cafes etc. That will be enough to keep you busy for a while. Great cafes in Rozelle and Balmain. Good choice.
