I just got a rental place approved. It's a studio in Newtown bordering with Enmore.

I need to get a small fridge (not barfridge), small dining table, a bed, sofa (or sofa bed), microwave, small TV.

And I will need them delivered. So, will prolly get everything in 1 go.

I am thinking of IKEA for the furniture and maybe Retravision / Bing Lee for the elctricals.

I am looking for good value. Not fussed about style

Does anyone have recommendations apart from Ikea.

Ikea is your best bet. Although, given you are in Newtown there is a large and good second hand furniture shop in King St - the southern end. You could check that out.

BTW - you found a great area. You won't be bored.
