Brighton, Melbourne
Location: Beach, Bay
Vibe: black, shiny 4WDs on parade
Rent: 2bdrm house $350 - $800
Man, come to Brighton on a weekend morning and you'll see what this place is all about. Firstly, you have to say Brighton with a refined accent. Brighton is an affluent, upper middle class, picturesque, family oriented, beach and bayside suburb in Melbourne's south east. It's popular with the over 45s crowd, and has its fair share of matronly style women with big blonde hair, bling and 4WDs (SUVs). (More information below... )

Where are the best margaritas located in Melbourne? I love Margaritas, the good ole' lemony ones with lots of tequila.

Hi Turtle,
Well, not sure about the best Margaritas in Melbourne. But I know the best place for Margaritas in Sydney.
If you are a Margarita devotee, you must go to The Lotus Bar, it's at the back of the Lotus restaurant on Challis Ave, Potts Point.
They offer three different types of Margaritas, including one made with burnt orange and vanilla liquer. I wasn't a big fan of those, but I love the classic ones they make.
They're about $15 but worth every drop.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmm

Hi Gerty,
You may have a challenger on your hands cos Sisco kid says a place in Manly (the sugar lounge) does the best margaritas.
When I try out both I'll let you know who I think deserves the title of best margarita maker in Sydney.
