The welcome hotel is a great local in rozelle (almost balmain). Very relaxed - brilliant food. In fact it was one of the first pubs in sydney to offer top food at reasonable prices - a definite must. Make sure you go out the back to the beer garden... it's lovely on a warm summer day

Do you know the street address of the Welcome Hotel? I could look it up but I am being lazy.
I have heard before that it's a great pub.

Hi Jonop,
sorry about the slow response (a year!!)
I am assuming you found it ok - but if you
didnt it's on Evans road...
Also - the Dudley in Woollahra on Jersey
Road is another goodie. It's good to stand
outside on the pavement on a warm summer
evening ... and there's some good pub
food downstairs in the restaurant!
