Rose Bay is another exclusive suburb in Sydney’s fashionable east. La Disfida in Haberfield has really good wood fired pizza. Thin crust and good quality toppings.

Nah, nah, nah, nah.

If you really want to sink your teeth into a great pizza in Sydney. Go to Cafe Moretti at 47 Norton St. Phone 9568 1354. These guys do the best thin crust pizza and have a Nutella dessert pizza. I've never tried it but I'm told it's a winner.

I went to the Jilted Anchovy as recommended in the Clovelly suburb profile and have to admit the pizza was pretty good.

The thing I've noticed about pizza prices in Sydney's east - is they are not cheap. Some pizzas are crap and they still charge you a lot for it. But other places like the Jilted Anchovy charge approx $11 for a small pizza but at least they are good.

There are a couple of pizza places in Randwick. I haven't tried Arthurs, but the other place I went to, which is a restaurant and pizzeria, had what I reckon was one of the worst pizzas I have ever eaten. It felt like a brick in my gut after I had eaten it.

Beaches on Darley Rd in Manly has the best ever pizzas. Thin crust, gourmet, great environment, friendly service. It's not cheap but when they taste this good, who cares.

Because it's on Darley Rd most tourists don't know about it, which means it's more of a local's hangout.

I went to the Australian Hotel at the Rocks in Cumberland Street yesterday. Hadn't been there in years. They do interesting or weird pizzas, depending on your interpretation. Example? Crocodile pizza, emu pizza and I think they even had kangaroo pizza but I could be wrong. Beers are great. There are about 20 boutique Australian beers on tap or in stubbies. It's always busy for lunch.

i love Arthurs in Randwick - large servings, full of flavour, fresh ingredients and reasonable prices.

Great place for a good hearty meal.
