Brighton is an affluent, upper middle class, picturesque, family oriented, beach and bayside suburb in Melbourne's south east. A FIsh Called Coogee does great cooked fish and chips and the people who run it are friendly.
There are about 20 different marinated fish to choose from which you can either have cooked in the shop or take home to cook. Yum
It's on Coogee Bay Rd.

I like the fish and chips place in Manly's Corso. I can never remember what it's called but it's right down near the beach and is about the second shop from the end. They marinate their grilled fish in herbs, butter and garlic and the fish is always delicious. There's usually a queue of people waiting but the wait is worth it.
