I think I have finally found myself the best hairdresser in Melbourne, and believe me I have been looking.

His name is Jamie and he works at Sweet Caroline in South Yarra.

He cuts hair dry, and then washes it and then cuts it again to do the finishing touches which is kinda unusual. However, it worked. I now have the best haircut I have had since moving to Melbourne 4 years ago.

The other thing is, he really took his time to look at my hair to see what would suit me, and the guy who coloured my hair (whose name I can't remember) also did the same thing and gave me a great colour.

The only downside is that this hairdresser is not cheap. It's $250 for a cut and colour.

Yes I knew about this hairdresser, and I just love it even I know it's a bit expensive for me. But I just love it and been recommended this one for my friends.

I live in Sydney but happened to be in Melbourne when I really needed a haircut. The recommendation for Matt in Sydney was good and I decided to follow this tip. It is a very good recommendation and I was happy with Jamie's work. Thank you.

Sorry, but I disagree. After trying Sweet Caroline, I went to the hairdresser in Flemington mentioned in another post on this forum and think she is better.
