Try Fountain Hair and BEauty in Potts Point in Darlinghurst Rd, opposite the round fountain. My girlfriend has been going there for a few years and always comes out looking good. We moved to Melbourne for a year and she would still fly back to Sydney to get her hair cut. I've been there a couple of times but sometimes i just like going to an el cheapo barber.

sorry, can't recommend any names of any of the hairdressers because I haven't been there often enough to register the names.
