From all the feedback, I thought Matt mostly did women's hair. However, it turns out a lot if not most of his clients are men.

He is seriously a good hairdresser. And like you say, he is witty and smart and fun and not the least bit a tosser. All of which is a bonus!

I really can't stand all those places where you feel like you have to look like a model before you can enter the shop to have your hair cut.

I'm not sure how to describe the place, it's like nothing I have ever been to before, but I have now become a convert.

thanks for the recommendation. I am now one of what looks like a growing number of fans of The Barberia. i couldn't get in to have my hair cut with Matthew, which meant I got booked in with Beth. She was excellent.
