Marrickville is a multicultural melting pot. It used to have a large Greek community, but now the Asian influence is much stronger, with plenty of Vietnamese grocers and restaurants. Yum! Currently, the suburb is going through another change - attracting young professionals with a slightly alternative approach to life. Marrickville buzzes with a laid back energy most days.
