Rent: apartment rents are at the lower to mid range, house rental prices are mid range
Put it this way, if you have an above average wage and like living in a nice area, then Wilston could be your thing. This suburb has come a long way from its seedy past to now being one of the top suburbs in Brisbane. It is hilly with fab city views; has great architecture; a very good local shopping village with good cafes and an excellent chocolate shop; nice parks; it's very close to the Royal Brisbane Hospital, and is on the train line.
