I love the shoe comparisons. It's quirky and you get away with it.

I live in a smelly Converse Sneaker apparently - Newtown. I am offended

Mate, I live in Newtown too. The shoe index doesn't say anything about a smelly converse, it just says Converse.

It describes the suburb as a bit grungey and as far as I am concerned, that's a bonus. Who wants to live in a rich boring suburb?

Haha, I was just kidding. Then again, my old converse has always been a bit smelly.

I want to live in rich boring suburb, but my crummy studio in Newtown will do for now

Newtown is actually what I am looking for coming from small town perth wanting a change.

The shops on King street are very interesting. There are some 7 Thai restaurants on that street alone. One day will try em all.

I am lucky that my place is close to Marrickville Metro too - supermarkets.

I like Newtown.

Newtown is great. It's the most creative part of Sydney and i love the mix of people. Smelly Converse sneakers are welcome. I'd say from the shoe index, you made a good choice to live here. don't go to a boring rich suburb. Why? Because it's boring.
