Kensington

    Kensington, Melbourne (inner west)

Rent: rents are in the mid range

Vibe: Breakfast with friends

Location: River, Inner city, 5-10km from city centre, Near Melbourne Uni/RMIT/Shillington College, Near VU

Kensington is one of the best places to live in Melbourne. There is a good community and village feel here, and  a small collection of great cafes and bars that come without the attitude you’d find in other inner city suburbs. Once a working class suburb that was all but ignored, Kensington has well and truly become one of the “in” suburbs. And it's only 3 train stops from the city centre.
