Where the alternative and community minded professionals like to live.
Fitzroy North 3065
North Fitzroy is where the arty, creative types graduate to when they get older, start having families, earn more money or want a quieter neighbourhood to live in. It's got a good village feel, a strong sense of community and a dedication to organic food. The architecture is mostly Victorian, the streets are tree lined, the property prices are high. It's a good, safe, wealthier area. (More information below).
North Fitzroy is a popular suburb to live in because of its proximity to the city centre, and because of its overall look and feel. The shops and cafes are interesting, and so are the people who live here.
It's not the cheapest suburb, but if you can afford it and like what it has to offer, it's a great area to live in.
