Sun, sand, blue skies and mezes. The flavour of this suburb is decidedly souvlaki and tzatziki, opa!  So, if you are feeling like a hellenic hit, and don't have the cash to splash on an airfare, visit Brighton-le-Sands. There are Greek cake shops, coffee shops, cafes and even a Greek Australian Sports Hall of Fame.

Brighton-Le-Sands is definitely a family place so expect to see plenty of kids and parents at parks attending sporting events on Saturday mornings. Couples are also attracted to this bayside locale. Plenty of residents make use of the long, long walking track along the beach. Speaking of the beach, it’s got great white sand and views across Botany Bay to the airport and a refinery. The architecture is a mix of brick post-war homes, many with aluminium windows, and apartment blocks. (More info below and to your left <<<)
