A family friendly suburb with quiet streets 

Broadview, Adelaide (6-10km)

Broadview is one quiet, old style, family type suburb. There is nothing pretentious about Broadview. The streets are wide and leafy, the houses are large and on big blocks, some houses are renovated, some are not, some are old, some are new. There are a few schools in nearby suburbs, and a couple of good shopping malls. You don't have to have a huge income to live here, but you do need to be happy to live in a quiet, unassuming, nothing-much-happens-here neighbourhood. (More info below and to your left <<<)
