Lane Cove
Lane Cove
Great parks, harbour views and pleasant streets

Lane Cove, Sydney (north shore)

Lane Cove is not a “cool” suburb, but if you have a family or if you like plenty of greenery, parks and serenity then Lane Cove is a great place to live. It’s safe, clean and has a very pleasant, low-key village shopping centre with plenty of cafes, deli's and real estate agents!!. Homes tend to be on the larger side. There is a general feeling of people taking it easy.  (More information below and to your left <<<)

If this suburb were a shoe, it would be a brown work shoe

Lane Cove is another suburb that is changing, with more people with higher pay packets moving in, but for the time being at least, the low key feel of the place is intact. And, best of all, Lane Cove is only a 15 – 20 minute drive from the city, longer if you travel by bus.

Parking is fine. The vibe: casual lunch with the kids and nanna. Shoe equivalent: walking shoe. Would suit: ages 25+, professionals, couples, families. Location: parks. Postcode: 2066. Distance: 9km from the city centre. Direction: North.
