A well to do suburb with large sandstone homes and tree-lined streets. 

Hunters Hill, Sydney (north shore)

It's no wonder actress Cate Blanchett lives in this suburb. It is quiet, picturesque, very safe, and has stunning harbour views. The houses here are impressive. Hunters Hill resembles one of those very upmarket suburbs in American movies with big, well kept period homes in tree-lined streets, where people play tennis and talk to each other politely. Hunters Hill has two village hubs. Both are small. One is upmarket. The suburb has stunning tree lined streets and many period and sandstone homes on large blocks of land, and stunning views. But it doesn't have the flashy bling bling factor of other well to do places that you might find in the eastern suburbs of Sydney.
 

Parking is fine. The vibe: napkins at dinner and horse riding lessons for the kids. Shoe Equivalent - Country Road. Would suit people aged 45+, families, professionals.  Location: Harbour, north shore. Postcode: Distance: 10km from city centre. Direction: north west.
