Milsons Point 2061

Milsons Point is a harbourside suburb on the Lower North Shore. In recent years it has seen considerable redevelopment with numerous high rise apartment towers. It attracts young professionals and singles who like the convenience of living close to the city centre but for whom a suburb with a soul is not a priority. Rental prices are rather higher than the average. But because the apartments are relatively new, the quality is also better, and the views are nothing short of stunning. (More information below...)

Milsons Point is home to Luna Park and the North Sydney Olympic Pool. Thankfully, Milsons Point is just across the road from Kirribilli’s small village-like and pleasant shopping strip. It is also close to Mc Mahons Point and its main street, Blues Point Road. There are a couple of bars and cafes in Milsons Point which help provide a bit of colour, and create a cool scene.

Parking can be tricky to downright trying. The vibe: convenient but soulless. Shoe equivalent: Aquila, black heels. Would suit: ages 30+, singles, professionals, executives  with plenty of money. Location: harbour. Direction: North.
