Apartment blocks, convenience, quiet area 

Artarmon, Sydney (north shore)

Location, location, location. Artarmon is on the north shore train line making it very convenient. It has a small shopping village with pretty much everything you will need, a good supply of larger apartments, and plenty of trees which help make it a physically appealing place to live. About the only thing that’s missing though, is a bit of soul. But that is slowly changing. (More info below and to your left <<<)

Artarmon tends to attract professionals, couples and singles. The older part of Artarmon has lovely old homes. The newer part, on the shops side, is almost entirely made up of high rise apartments and townhouses. But most of these apartments are on the larger side, and many offer good views.

Overall, it’s a quiet and safe suburb which is close to Chatswood, the city centre and Crows Nest.

Parking can be tricky at times. The vibe: convenient. Shoe equivalent: Colorado. Would suit: ages 25+, professionals, families, people on the conventional side. Location: 5 – 10km of city centre. Postcode: 2064. Distance: 7km from the city centre. Direction: North
